1. General Policy
Due to the specialised nature of our services and custom handling of customer goods and devices, all sales are final. IT-UK Tech Team enforces a strict no returns, no refunds policy on all completed services and any goods sold, except where legally required under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
2. Goods (Hardware, Parts & Products)
Non-Returnable Items Include:
All custom-ordered, special-order, or bespoke items
All parts used during repair or diagnostic services
All opened, unsealed, or installed components
All consumables (e.g. batteries, cables, accessories)
Once goods are sold, installed, or fitted, they are non-returnable and non-refundable.
Faulty Goods
If a product sold by IT-UK Tech Team is found to be defective within 14 days of collection, and:
Has not been tampered with, modified, or damaged by the customer; and
Is returned in its original condition with proof of purchase;
We may, at our discretion, repair, replace, or refund the item in accordance with the manufacturer’s warranty (if applicable).
We do not cover any consequential loss or damage resulting from faulty goods.
3. Services (Repairs, Diagnostics, Digital Work)
No Refunds on Services
All service fees—including diagnostic/assessment fees, labour charges, software installation, data recovery attempts, consultations, and custom tech support—are strictly non-refundable, regardless of outcome or customer satisfaction, unless proven to be in breach of contract or statutory consumer rights.
Unsuccessful Repairs
If a repair is unsuccessful due to pre-existing damage, further undiagnosed faults, or lack of customer cooperation (e.g. password/access denial), you are still liable for full or partial service and diagnostic charges.
4. Deposits & Down Payments
All deposits and down payments are non-refundable, including but not limited to:
Advance payments for service bookings
Deposits for ordering hardware or parts
Prepayments made to reserve time or appointment slots
5. Warranty Returns (When Applicable)
Some goods may carry a limited manufacturer or in-house warranty, which will be clearly stated in writing at the time of sale or service. This warranty is:
Non-transferable
Void if the item is damaged, opened, or modified by third parties
Limited strictly to the scope of the original repair or product
Warranty claims must be made within the stated period and include the original invoice.
6. Abandoned Goods
Goods or devices left uncollected for more than 30 calendar days from the date of service completion or notification will be considered abandoned. IT-UK Tech Team reserves the right to dispose of, recycle, or sell such goods to recover storage and service costs.
